The CARE ZONE provides assistance to NDIS participants in obtaining and maintaining employment and/or higher education.
Through the NDIS, individuals with disabilities are able to access and maintain employment or higher education. Funding may be provided for assistive technology, workplace modifications, and other forms of support. Additionally, the NDIS provides funding for respite care and other support services to provide a sense of well-being to people with disabilities.
Support coordination assists people with disabilities and their families in accessing the NDIS.
It helps individuals make informed decisions about their services and supports, and identify and remove barriers that may prevent them from accessing what they require.
We assist NDIS participants with daily personal activities such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
We also support activities that promote social inclusion, such as social gatherings with family and friends.
We provide transportation assistance through experienced drivers.
We assist with the planning and execution of trips, travel arrangements, and provision of any required equipment.
Our support workers assist with daily life tasks in a group setting or shared living arrangement.
This includes personal care, home maintenance, cooking, and cleaning.
We encourage participants to take a more active role in their community.
Through support and resources, they develop the skills and confidence to participate in activities including volunteering, community events, and social groups.
We assist individuals in developing basic daily living and life skills — cooking, budgeting, and self-care.
We can also provide special equipment and assistive technology to facilitate independent living.
We provide assistance with household chores including cooking, cleaning, shopping, gardening, and other daily activities.
We assist participants to take part in community, social, and civic activities — local events, volunteering, or joining a sports team — including any necessary equipment or support.
We support participants to attend group and/or centre-based activities that build independence, self-care, and community involvement — from sports and art classes to structured life-skills classes.
