Care Zone provides the following support categories:

0102 Assistance to Access and Maintain Employment or Higher Education

The CARE ZONE provides assistance to NDIS participants in obtaining and maintaining employment and/or higher education.

Through the NDIS, individuals with disabilities are able to access and maintain employment or higher education. Funding may be provided for assistive technology, workplace modifications, and other forms of support. Additionally, the NDIS provides funding for respite care and other support services to provide a sense of well-being to people with disabilities.

0106 Assistance in Coordinating or Managing Life Stages, Transitions and Supports

NDIS participants can receive support coordination services from CARE ZONE. Support coordination NDIS is a service that assists people with disabilities and their families in accessing the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). It is designed to assist individuals and their families in making informed decisions regarding their services and supports. The program also assists them with identifying and removing barriers that may prevent them from accessing the services they require.

0107 Daily Personal Activities

Care Zone assists NDIS participants with daily personal activities. The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides funding to people who require assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and going to the toilet. In addition, it provides funding for activities that promote social inclusion, such as social gatherings with family and friends.

0108 Assistance with Travel / Transport Arrangements

We provide transportation assistance to NDIS participants through our experienced drivers at CARE ZONE. Those with disabilities may receive assistance from the NDIS with regards to travel and transportation arrangements. We can assist with the planning and execution of trips, travel arrangements, or the provision of required equipment. Moreover, the NDIS may also provide assistance with transportation costs.

0115 Assistance with Daily Life Tasks in a Group or Shared Living Arrangement

Support workers from CARE ZONE can assist with daily life tasks in a group setting or shared living arrangement. Assistance with daily activities in group settings or shared living arrangements is covered under the NDIS. It may include assistance with personal care, home maintenance, cooking, and cleaning.

0116 Innovative Community Participation

It is our goal at CARE ZONE to provide community programs to NDIS participants. Through this program, people with disabilities are encouraged to participate more actively in their community. By providing support and resources, they are able to develop the skills and confidence to participate in activities including volunteering, attending community events, and joining social groups. Furthermore, it facilitates the development of relationships between them and other individuals.

0117 Development of Daily Living and Life Skills

As part of Care Zone’s services, we assist individuals in developing basic daily living skills and life skills.  The NDIS provides funding and support to assist people with disabilities in developing their daily living skills and developing their social skills. Among the activities included are the assistance with cooking, budgeting, and self-care activities. A portion of the NDIS is also allocated to provide funding for special equipment and assistive technology designed to facilitate independent living for people with disabilities.

0120 Household Tasks

CARE ZONE provides assistance with household chores. People with disabilities are provided with funding through the NDIS to assist them with daily tasks. Cooking, cleaning, shopping, gardening, and other daily activities are all examples of such assistance.

0125 Participation in Community, Social and Civic Activities

At Care Zone, we assist NDIS participants with community and social participation. A portion of the NDIS funding is available to individuals who wish to participate in community, social, and civic activities. Participation in local events, volunteering, or joining a sports team are some examples of activities that may be considered. In addition, NDIS funding may cover any necessary equipment or support that may be required to accomplish these objectives.

0136 Group and Centre Based Activities

The CARE ZONE assists NDIS participants in attending group and / or center-based activities. In these activities, support is provided to individuals with disabilities so that they may achieve greater independence, self-care, and community involvement. A variety of activities are available, depending on the individual’s needs and interests, and can include group activities, such as sports or art classes, as well as more structured activities, such as life skills classes.
